About Us

Cathedral Camps is a charity dedicated to the role that young people can have in preserving the architectural heritage of Britain.

It has 26 years experience, drawing on volunteers' energy to improve the quality of peoples' lives and the world around them.

Through Cathedral Camps, people gain a sense of great achievement and empowerment. Volunteering can provide the opportunity to learn new skills, discover new interests and build on existing ones. It is a way to make a direct and positive difference to the things you care about.

Each camp brings young people the chance to work towards satisfying goals while gaining knowledge of the historical and cultural importance of the buildings. During the week they also socialise and mix with other young people from around Britain and other parts of the world.

Because the camps are residential, many volunteers create firm and lasting bonds. Some return year after year while others go on to become leaders and assistant leaders.

Meet new people, make friends and have a good time!
