ReFresh is an England wide initiative which offers young people the chance to learn more about the diversity of their communities through one-day volunteering events.
The project provides 16-25 year olds with the opportunity to take part in the conservation of historic buildings of worship, to build awareness of their community, and make a positive and visible contribution to their environment in just one day!

ReFresh offers volunteers a huge range of opportunities and benefits:
• To learn more about the community first hand and improve social and cultural awareness
• To meet young people from all walks of life and challenge negative perceptions around difference
• To improve practical and organisational skills
• To build effective team working skills
• To create ownership and involvement in their local community
• To become a ReFresh leader.
The project works to increase social and cultural awareness and inter-faith dialogue; developing the skills of young people in the community in a fun and relaxed environment.
